The Team

Group 64 has a dedicated team of Theatre Education Professionals, who between them bring an excellent mix of skills and experience.  All staff are DBS checked and have a full interview process and trial period.

Nicola Sterry – Company Director

I’m the Company Director at G64, with a background in theatre, education and creative learning. I’ve worked with organisations including Playbox Theatre for Young People, Chicken Shed Theatre Company and London Bubble, and have taught English through drama in South Africa, Italy and Japan.

I joined G64 17 years ago as Youth Director, directing many shows over the years and working closely with young people both on and off stage. This experience continues to shape my approach, and I now take on a more strategic role, supporting the long-term direction of the organisation.

I hold a degree in Theatre, Film and Television, as well as a Master’s degree with Distinction in Theatre Education. My work is driven by a belief in the power of theatre to support learning, confidence and connection across different communities.

Stacey Burt – Creative Learning Director

I’m the Creative Learning Director at G64, where I focus on making exciting, meaningful creative work with young people. I graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2017 with a BA in Drama and Theatre Education, and have since worked with organisations including Little Creatives, Fresh Arts and Bigfoot Arts Education.

I joined G64 in 2018, as a freelance drama tutor and have moved up to the Creative Learning Director. I love being part of a team that values creativity, collaboration and curiosity. Alongside my creative role, I take on responsibility for safeguarding at G64. Creating spaces where young people feel safe, supported and able to be themselves is central to everything I do.

My work is driven by a belief that drama and creativity can help people connect — to themselves, to others and to the world around them.

Phoebe Moore – Assistant Youth Director

I’m the Assistant Youth Director at G64 and a writer, performer and youth arts facilitator. Originally from Ireland, I’m now based in London, where I completed an MA in Applied Theatre at Goldsmiths University in 2023. Alongside my work at G64, I also work freelance with theatre companies and charities including Little Angel, Extant and The Ben Kinsella Trust.

I’m passionate about the role of theatre and the arts in creating a more compassionate and connected world, and I bring this focus to all the projects I work on with young people. At G64, I love supporting creativity, curiosity and confidence in every young person we work with, helping them explore ideas and express themselves in ways that feel meaningful.

Catherine Allison – Education Lead

I’m the Education Lead at G64, where I focus on creating innovative projects that bring young people together and encourage connection through drama. I graduated with a BA(Hons) in Contemporary Performance Practice from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2022, receiving the Drama in Education award. Since then, I’ve collaborated with Scottish theatre companies including 21Common, Beacon Arts Youth Theatre, and Imaginate, and co-founded Flos Collective CIC, producing events for Celtic Connections and the Govanhill International Festival.

My work is driven by a passion for community building and using theatre to help young people explore ideas, express themselves and connect with others. At G64, I love seeing creativity spark confidence, collaboration, and curiosity in everyone we work with.

Flo Crompton Drama Tutor

I’m a Drama Tutor at G64, and I’m thrilled to be back teaching the Thursday Musical Theatre class with Cath. I graduated with a Masters in Acting from ArtsEd in 2022 and am proud to be a Group 64 alumni, having attended classes from the ages of 4–18. Over the years I performed in many shows at G64, and now I love helping the next generation of young people explore their creativity, build confidence, and enjoy every moment on stage.

Kate Pasco – Associate Director

I’m an Associate Director at G64, and a freelance director, theatre maker, and facilitator specialising in work with and for young people. I worked at G64 from 2010–2018, starting as a freelance tutor before becoming Youth Director. During that time I directed three devised productions at the Edinburgh Fringe, collaborated with the V&A Museum, curated a five-day young people’s takeover festival, and set up Little Echo, a theatre company for G64 graduates.

In my current role, I continue to support the work of G64 and look forward to future collaborations, helping young people and the team create inspiring, meaningful theatre together.

G64 Assistants and Buddies

In our younger classes, older G64 members act as Assistants and Buddies. We support the younger children, encourage positive group work, and help new or shy members feel welcome and have fun. Many of our Assistants have been part of G64 for years themselves, and their energy, support, and enthusiasm make them an invaluable part of the team.
